Steven Strogatz's Series in the NY Times

It started at the end of January with penguins ordering fish, fish, ... fish, in From Fish to Infinity. Now he's exploring functions and logarithms, in Power Tools. If you haven't checked it out, I think you'll enjoy it.

  1. I love his series. I anxiously await each article. I think he does a very nice job and the links at the bottom provide some excellent further exploration.

  2. This is awesome. As someone who doesn't teach math in a math class, but rather attempts to incorporate it in social studies and language arts, I'm always trying to learn more about the subject.
